
When the weather turns nicer, you want to make sure that you can enjoy the outdoors. If you are not one of the lucky few with mild temperatures throughout the year, chances are that you are going to have to put in some work to get your patio ready for the upcoming nice weather. Step #1 – Check The Condition Of Your Patio
Outdoor surfaces can easily become damaged with colder weather or because of storms. Make sure that there is no clear damage or wear and tear on your patio. Look for splitting, rotting, or twisting wood in wood decks. You want to search for any sign of cracks or crumbling areas in tile, brick, stone, or concrete patios.
If you have a brick or tile patio, you can replace damaged or cracked tiles with new ones. If you have a broken concrete patio, you want use a trowel or putty knife to repair cracks in multiple layers. Always make sure that you follow the instructions of the manufacturer.
Step #2 – Time To Clean The Patio
It is now time to clean your patio once you have checked it thoroughly. Remove any branches, leaves, dust, or dirt from your patio. Any type of debris is going to have to go. You want to remove any weeds that might have gotten been the crevices and cracks if you have a concrete or stone patio.
Remove materials such as dust and dirt with a pressure washer or a garden hose. It is a good idea to start at one end of the patio and make sure that you rinse through the entire surface area one way. Use a formulated deck cleaner to remove any mildew that might have sprung up. Remember to always be careful when you use pressure washer.

Time To Set Up Your Patio
It is time to let everything out that you put away for the winter. This includes your wind chimes, lighting, planters, outdoor rugs or mats, anything at all. Make sure that you mix and match the colors and patterns of your cushions for a coherent design. To go a step further, make sure that these mix and match with other accessories such as your patio table umbrella and more. If you feel that certain elements simply are out of style or clash with what you currently have, time to replace them!
